But you should never let them soak in the rain too. Bring them in as soon as it rains. Sometimes, some parts of the table are made from metal. You don't want to let the metal parts rust, do you?

A resin wicker furniture is more durable. You will have an easier time cleaning them too. If possible, buy the resin ones because they are currently the modern standard for wicker furniture.
